There's something in my soul that leads me
off into the blue.
Sometimes for real
and sometimes only in my mind.
This something in me needs trees, grass,
good air and freedom to
roam through this world as I will.
There is in me a quest for life,
A need to live that life to the fullest,
Trying new things, and not holding back
Because of what others might think.
I need no strings
And put no strings on anyone.
My child must be as free as I am,
And so must my love.
Wouldn't you like to roam through life
with me for a while?
